Excellent refurbished Hotel
The hotel looks fantastic after the refurbishment.. we have been coming to the Rio for over 16 years. The staff are always accommodating and helpful. The rooms are a huge improvement with lovely shower rooms that dont flood the bathroom!! Pool and outside facilities are second to none. Will be back in August. Well done Rio Park.

Buen hotel
El hotel muy bueno, recién reformado. Buena piscina, comida, atención del Personal. Lo malo: la animación que era todo en inglés..... Los españoles también tenemos derecho a que sea en castellano.

Buen Hotel ,no merece 2 estrellas
Estuve recientemente con mi mujer y dos hijos y lo pasamos muy bien, la habitacion que nos dieron estaba recien reformada, los colchones y muebles nuevisimos, 2 tv, los niños encantados con su habitacion con tv, es verdad que tuve que pedir la cuna 2 veces y me dieron largas, pero llego , aunque tarde, y era nueva de estreno o usada 1 vez mas, buenos, la piscins de niños es genial , nueva tbm, indicar que es un hotel recien reformado, hasta aqui lo bueno, ahora las pegas, horarios de comidas y cenas bien, aunque el hotel esta al 93 de guiris y soy generoso jeje, la comida buena , de calidad, aunque es verdad que hay poca variedad para los españoles lo que hay esta bueno, se come agusto , en el desayuno hechamos en falta unos churros , por pedir, para los guiris hay de todo , eso si, otra GRAN pega , los espectaculos son de excelente calidad, peroooooo 100 en ingles .....oh ohhh errorrrr , no cuesta nada hacerlos bilingues, pero muy bien, destacar el comportamiento del personal que es excepcional, a lo mejor pq ibamos con dos niños pero de lujo y en especial, y es un detallazo de la implicacion de este personal es , que nada mas llegar al hotel empezamos a descargar msletas , bolsas , carricoche.....imaginense , y se acerca un muchacho a ofrecerse a ayudarnos , resulto ser el mago del espectaculo nocturno, es de agradecer el gesto, perooo Gibraltar Español

Seguridad y ruidos
Puertas de acceso a escaleras deben estar siempre cerradas Puertas de acceso a las habitaciones tienen un rebaje inferior por el que entra todo el ruido de los pasillos La música de las animaciones llega muy fuerte hasta las habitaciones, un poco más bajo se agradecería

RECIÉN RENOVADO
HOTEL RECIENTEMENTE RENOVADO, TODO DE ESTRENO, IMPECABLE. LO NEGATIVO: LA ESCASEZ DE ASCENSORES QUE FUNCIONEN PARA UN HOTEL CON TANTOS HUÉSPEDES, CON MUCHO TIEMPO DE ESPERA

Fantastic holiday
We stayed for a week to celebrate my 50th and New Years Eve. Upon check in we were given 4 tickets for four free drinks on New Years Eve. We were in an upgraded suite and it was more than adequate. It had a fridge with complementary drinks, a free safe, a walk in power shower, all the usual bathroom accessories like shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste etc. A hairdryer, a massive bed, a kettle with tea and coffee, two chairs and a table inside plus a desk and also two chairs and a table on the balcony. The rooms have been upgraded to a high standard. The food is as always excellent. The entertainment is good. On New Years Eve there was a free buffet for all in the main bar as well as a grand gala dinner consisting of everything possible all the shell fish, meats pastas, salads main courses you name it it was there and it came with free wine. Upon leaving there were party packs for every guest and the Spanish traditional 12 grapes. We also had a tray of champagne and two glasses and 2 candy canes left in our room to help us celebrate New Year. And we also had the four free drinks. The entertainment allowed us to celebrate in style and celebrate both the Spanish and British New Year and then have a small disco to finish off. New Years Day they Changed the time of breakfast to a brunch from 9 until 3 allowing for you to have a lie in which was extremely welcomed by us. We could not fault anything about our stay and would highly recommend

XMAS STAY 2018
Once again we enjoyed our stay, food & sevice was good. Some of the seating is in need of replacing due to over weight people sitting on them, & the main bar area is in need of refurbishment,

Rooms
Superior rooms are very comfortable and well furnished. Soundproofing could be better. The room acess door lets in too much noise from people passing outside the room. Food and all staff throughout we great 5 estrellas.
